I've been learning a lot about Hardcore. It's a very interesting genre, there's actually a hell of a lot of variety within it. It's kind of an umbrella genre that works as more of a culture than a strict set of genres. (Which is torture for me because I like my subgenres and classifications. For organizational reasons of course.)

Now that I've listened to Snapcase, I feel like I understand this album's influences a little more. Higher Power is interesting, they add a little bit of Jane's Addiction, and Incubus into this stuff. Whether or not they ever listened to Snapcase I don't know, but I definitely make a connection anyways.

@Shanny8 It's a good one. Every once in a while I get in the mood for them. This time it was spurred on by this newer band that uses a ton of influence off of those late 90s Alt Rock bands
