Number nine:
Pillars of Humanity (1991) By The Crucified
Number eight:
The Years of Decay (1989) Overkill
Number seven:
Worlds Torn Asunder (2012) Warbringer
Number six: also has one of my favorite album arts too!
Forbidden Evil (1989) Forbidden
Halfway through my favorite Thrash Albums.
Number five:
Trapped in Chaos (2019) by Dust Bolt
Number four: of course, Metallica is gonna be on this list. But, not Master of Puppets...which is OVERRATED! (I just committed a Metal Heresy right there. Consider me an apostate, I don't care xD)
Kill 'Em All (1983) Metallica
Number three: This record is musical perfection!
Brotherhood of the Snake (2016) Testament
Number two: Lich King is the total package for quality Thrash metal. Rapid-fire vocal delivery? Check. Face melting solos and gut punching riffs? Check. Tongue in cheek comedy horror and violent lyrics? Check. Total intensity and actually well thought out song structures? Double Check.
Born of the Bomb (2012) Lich King
Finally. Number one: This record completely encapsulates Thrash Metal for me personally. The whole reason I like this subgenre is summed up in one word: Intensity and this album delivers it perfectly.
The Onslaught (2007) Lazarus AD
A runner up:
The Terror Tapes (2013) Gama Bomb
