What Are Your Comic Goals For 2018?

Comic goal for 2018: Keep [swear words] doing and [more swear words] publishing it.

Get 100 subscribers for my poetry comic.
Start publishing in Line Webtoon too.
Create a Patreon page.
Once I get 100 subscribers, I will publish another comic. I have already created 3 chapters.

• Catch up 'No Future' on Line (it's behind as I am slow at reformatting the pages)
• Reboot 'Raven Wolf' and redraw it in vertical format (the original files for this series no longer open properly because they are so old, so I can't even go back to edit them if I wanted to)
• Draw at least 300 pages over the course of the year

Bonus novel goals

• Release my novels on Tapastic (and this time have it be the edited files >< I uploaded the unedited ones by accident and was so ashamed I never stuck to releasing them)
• Get the novel version of Raven Wolf off of hiatus and finish book 6

1.Redraw my comic and flesh out the story more.
2 Animate some of the pages( wanted to get back into animation before starting art school.
3.Actually set goals and time limits on how fast I can get a whole chapter done.
4. Have at least a 3 chapter buffer.(so far have 1)

• Finish part 2 of my main comic
• Do some more minicomics on my own
• Do some minicomics with other people (maybe some folks from around tapas?)
• Spice up my patreon campaign

• Maybe push my Ko-Fi a bit more?
• Put more stuff up for sale on Gumroad
• Do a small ad campaign through topwebcomic/project wonderful using my first payout from tapas :V (I cant wait til all of my funds stop pending!!!)
• Set up some mirrors on Webtoons & Tumblr. Maybe my own site? whoknows?
• Finalize the "script" for my next big project
• Maybe go to a convention this year??? I dunno might still be a bit early for that.

Heh yeah, updating slowed to an almost never crawl due to too many things happening in life and with my health. Hoping to bring life back into the series and get back on it more constantly now that things have gotten a little better for me.

Hello hello, I'm new here, but I have been working on my comic for a while now, so I have some goals as well

• Reach Page 100 of my comic
• engage more on social media (ha, already on it
• define my artstyle more and stop doing everything under the sun. I feel like a lack of consistency is holding me back a little.
• Keep sticking to my schedule as best as I can and - if possible - double the amount of pages I am drawing.

A lot to do, and I feel like engaging with social media more and sticking to one style will be the harder part.

So this year I will begin marketing to actual students. I didn't have enough content before to push it as reading material but I feel as though it's getting there. And I've noticed student-y types following me more and more on social media. This brings me to...

Getting the website up and running. I can't put all the content onto Tapas,Twitter and Tumblr and they're not exactly kid proof. This is happening now.

And hopefully by the end of 2018, I will look at monetising. I may stick a donation page up there now but I think this might need a bit more time.

BUILD MY WEBSITE. This will be more achievable in the next couple of months once I finish Ch 2 of my webcomic. been kind of stressin out coz I hadnt got started on it yet, but the break between chapters will allow me to.

Try to do more cons/shows than last year- partially not being 100% healthy kept me from doing a lot more last year, but then I also thought I was going to be moving so I cancelled out on some stuff.

Once settled with the site being done, cons/shows scheduled, and other things handled- then I'm going sit down & devote my energies to ch 3 of my webcomic.

• Find time to figure out how to build a website, and draw the site design.
• Possibly print a physical copy of my comic just to see what it looks like.
• (Related to #3) Fix the speech bubbles in older pages, and rescan everything.
• Keep up my extremely small buffer.

- Attend at least 12 conventions this year (bonus points if we go as guests)
- Having the comic sold to a comic shop on wholesale at least once a month
- Get a Patreon up and running by March 1st (Y'all got any tips for a newbie there?)
- To create 1 piece of new merch every month
- To have 1K in online sales by the end of the year
- Build a mailing list of 100 people by March 1st
- Get more involved in the twitter comics scene
- official website is in dire need of updating. Eeesh...

In Tapas specific stuff:
- Hit 500K views on Tapas by June 1st
- Hit 4K subs on Tapas by end of year
- Be more involved here on the Tapas forums
- And hope against hope, I'd love to get Kamikaze featured as a spotlight this year
