What are your comic mini-dreams?

Absolute domination of the world of american literature.
But if I had to tone my dreams to more "realistic" levels here are some things that would make me a happy guy.

-People making references to my comic
-Fan art/fan comics
-SHIPPERS
-Someone going off and creating a wikia dedicated to my comic
-Cosplayers
-Discussions and talks with passionate fans

The day I wake up and this is my reality I'm not joking guys I will literally cryi like the baby manchild that I am

Well, "get a small fandom" which involves most of the stuff listed:

• Cosplayers (hell yeah)
• Fantheories
• Fanart (already happening from time to time!)
• fanfics?
• Shippers would be amusing xD
• Seeing people talk about my characters and series around the internet
• Seeing RP blogs x3

Is it weird I want this and don't want it at the same time? I think I'd love to know my comic officially "made it" that big, but at the same time I'd be really out of character for all of my characters (as much as I like to tease my readers).

I kinda feel the same way, haha. I'd be amused that it exists and feel "well then, my comic has really made it", but... at the same time I have no interest in that kind of art.

I mean it is a rule of the internet. If your comic gets big there's inevitably going to be tons of... "That"

Picks for me:

• Definitely getting on the Staff Picks or Spotlight is my #1 mini-dream. However, I'm not sure that I want to make it there at the moment until I've released at least half a chapter. I'd like to give a larger audience something more hefty to read.
• Fanart or Crossover fanart would floor me, especially if it was from an artist that I really enjoy. I wouldn't be bothered by porn art, because if you've made it big, it's bound to exist. It's not like I'M making it, and you can't stop people, so whatever (It's not like you have to look at it anyway).
• Cosplay would be crazy awesome, considering the versatility I have in my character roster. Once you see my banner in the not-too-distant future, you'll realize what I mean.
• Getting enough traffic to make ad revenue worth it each month. It doesn't have to pay the bills, but some payoff would be nice.
• Having a successful kickstarter someday. Knowing that there would be enough people who would want to buy my comic in print would be incredibly satisfying and flattering.
• Finishing my comic. This is a far way away since my comic is longform, but I can't wait for the day where I can have my full vision of my comic existing right before my eyes.

My mini dreams would be

• To see a cosplayer from my comic
• See fanart and/or fanfiction for my comic
• be at a con booth and have someone walk up to me who already is a fan of my comic and gush about it (Sort of narcissistic but it would be cool to have a fan and then meet them in person. )
• be at a con and have someone walk up, looking at my comic and excitedly buy it from me. Then maybe see them again and they are totally into it.
• having someone do a review of my comic
• and having it show up on a spotlight page of some sort (on tapastic or another big site)
• Finishing my big comic (like the one that is my magnum opus and is gigantic and intimidating and I care way too much about)

@shaneoid77 Had Marc Silvestri to like one of my twitter posts a couple years back. I was like "What? He knows I exist?"- of course it was a tweet in which I had mentioned him as one of my fave artists.

Comic mini dreams...

1. Hope my webcomic builds a following. Eventually put my website together and people start following my print series as well.
2. Sell well enough at convention shows and online that I dont have to take a part gig working anywhere on the weekends. I want my weekends for myself
3. Eventually start selling Clique logo t-shirts(the title of my print series).
4. Have some online podcast who has really good circulation and pull interview me about my comics/art- or an influential online review would do as well.

These mini goals are nice. I have some, too. ;A;
Personal ones are:
1. Improve my art and story telling as well as script-writing + develop interesting scenarios.
2. Engage the readers and have them develop genuine interest not only in the story but as well as the characters.
3. Make my readers excited/happy with our updates. ;A;

And the general ones:
1. Receive a fanart (both sfw and nsfw lol) of our characters
2. Move someone's feelings through our story (although this is too early considering we just started, maybe in the future? Hopefully!)
3. See someone with an icon of our characters q
4. See people actually discussing the plot and characters
5. See my readers sailing their own ships haha!
6. I wish for my characters to be recognized. (´；ω；｀)

Alright, small-dreams time!

Spontaneous fanart - already achieved! <3 I'd love to see even more of it, but finding someone's taken the time to draw one of my characters is amazing. <3

Cosplay - if I ever see someone dressed as one of my characters, I will break down and cry.

Fanfiction - kind of similar to the first point.

Solid fan-theories - not just a random comment or two on a page, but fans getting into serious discussions of where my comic is going, why a character is doing what they're doing, etc.

... Basically, I just want people to get really engaged in my comic and turn that engagement into some creative output, because that's how I process the things I love.

My biggest dream was fan fiction and fanart which I have gotten both of which is AMAZING!
Publishing is a big dream as well and it has come true. My comic will be in several swedish comic anthology books during this autumn and next spring. I am also planning on self publishing a first volume of my comic next year to go to different conventions and sell.
But the biggest dream is of course that my readership will only grow more and more as time goes on

This is a rather interesting thread, it's made me think of my short term goals
► Improve my art, writing and story telling.
► Hopefully have people invest in my characters
► Network with other webcomic artists and generally be in the creative zone, I've already had some crossover suggestions which will be happening all being well
►Be in a position where I can help others gain exposure as i know how hard it can be
► Generally have fun

Besides the obvious dreams of making a decent living at doing what I love, I really want to have an emotional connection with the audience. This particularly pertains to Viscearl. I want to know I made a difference in a stranger's life because of something they took away from my work. People straighten out their lives after hearing certain songs. That is the kind of positive influence I hope to achieve. Anything more will be a bonus.
