Interesting on ComicFury I has so much more views even i don't promote there (that could mean that most of Tapas comics are hurt by their visibilities.)

I'm not trying to spread my readership (yet) as I only have my comic on 2 sites. (may add 2 more sites in Q3 & Q4)

To be fair with the WT stats, I deleted and reposted my comic at some point, plus whenever I finish a chapter I delete all the pages to put them together in parts, so I lose all my likes for those pages.

Don't know what to give for advice. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I've been posting my comic on Tapas since 2016, so it's been around for a few years, you just kinda gather stats as you go. There are WAY more people with better numbers.

Well, Let's see....

On Tapas, "Stories from the Golden Garden" has:

On Webtoons, "Stories from the Golden Garden" has:

- Likes: 586

And on Instagram I can only say that I have 1090+ Follower, but on average 20/30 Likes per post and no idea of the Views.

All of this since I've ever started to publish the 9th of January 2021.

I also have an old gl comic I made as a test comic. It's not great, but it did weirdly well on tapas, probably because there aren't a hell of a lot of gl comics. (definitely helped people find my new comic ) Here are the stats:

For me, promoting on forums has helped a ton with viewership! I also promo on tiktok and twitter and make sure to put links wherever I can. I managed to build an audience for my comic on instagram with minicomics about my characters that people seemed to enjoy!

But yeah, one other big thing is showing off my illustrations for my comics gets people interested, which is why I almost always include my cover art

I have been for a year+ in Tapas, and was featured once in the 'latin heritage month', so most of my following come from there, and then it keep a relatively healthy crowd behind it.
On Webtoons I am since june 2021, and have not recieved much attention xD. It's rated 8.71. For a time it was 10, but an evil creature gave a bad star, and then some other people gave good stars to balance.

My technique to promote is, like some other pople around here, to make some talk in the forums. I would discord but I don't understand the crowd over there. Also to jump in (almost) every activity that is done. I mostly seclude myself from those, though, but from time to time I try to play with others and got myself involved -that's how I got promoted on the heritage month thing.

Yeeeeeah, Webtoons is definitely my secondary mirror. To be fair, when I link the comic on social media and my website, it's always the Tapas link, so I don't really promote it much. It pretty much exists to advertise the Tapas version.
