Having grown up pretty spoiled, Kattar has a tendency to care very little about 99% percent of things, but the things he gets attached to he is desperately attached to, and there is nothing he fears more than losing them. Over the course of his life, this has mostly meant a couple of toys, his mother and Alicia. He also has a tendency to be very possessive of the things that matter to him, though he's learned over time to control this, so he isn't nearly as possessive of Alicia as he was of his mother when he was younger. He's very touchy about the people who are around the people who matter to him, and he has a tendency to rank how much he believes these people DESERVE the time and attention of the people he loves, though tbf, he also ranks himself this way.
Alicia gets very attached to things very easily, and this leads her to be kind of a pack rat. She's an affectionate person, who will often try to convince herself she loves someone, even if she's not entirely happy being with or around them, rather than parting with them. But she also has a tendency to dissociate herself from everything and everyone she loves whenever she's doing really poorly, sometimes consciously, sometimes subconsciously. She doesn't want the people she loves to be hurt by how much she's hurting and she also often loses the ability to function in these situations, so she's had a bad habit of ghosting and sometimes zombie-ing her friends, which is the reason why she lost most of them throughout her life so far. The more she loves someone, the less likely she is to explain what's actually going through her head to them, because she doesn't want them to worry. The people she keeps the most from are consequently, her Tia Maria, Kattar and her little brother Andrew. None of them know just how dark her thoughts tend to get, because she doesn't want them to be afraid that they'll lose her.
