It's a pleasure to meet you Alakotila! That's one of the many reasons about paganism that attracted me to it. It's so diverse, there's enough differences to help shape into our own individual beliefs, but also some similarities that anyone could find common ground on and build friendships from.

I don't know if this makes me agnostic, 'cause some people tell me yes and other no, so here we go with my way of thinking:
From personal experiences, I can't be part of any religion, because none of them allows what I've lived or they'd explain it in the wrong way, and also from actual stuff religions have done from history to the nowadays, I just can't be part of them.
But I do believe in God, angels, afterlife, reincarnation, and many other things, as the balance of nature and souls in animals.

I think there are a lot of people who share your aversion to religion, but nonetheless classify themselves as 'spiritual'. You could just call yourself a believer.

Agnostic is basically someone who doesn't know if there is a god or not. If you believe in God, then I'd say you are not agnostic, even if it's not a 100% certainty. Whether or not anyone agrees with your personal belief does not determine the validity of those beliefs. It really depends on you. No one can tell you what you believe in, except yourself.
There is a big difference between religion and faith. Religions, right or wrong, are human institutions. Faith is what you believe in, even if there isn't a corresponding religion that matches it.

If I had a nickel for every time I've heard people describe themselves as agnostic because they're 'somewhere in-between a believer and an atheist', well, I'd have a pretty solid bag o nickels, I'd say.

Raised as a central american catholic. I'm gonna put geographic region/race in there because there are a lot of things I celebrate with the family that are not "traditionally" roman catholic.

Interesting I was raised Greek Orthodox Christian and Not sure if you know this but the Orthodox faith is the original and most purest form of Christianity. I was commissioned by a priests wife to draw demons and an angel saving a human soul from a demon. I do not see a problem in drawing demons as long as you are not bowing down to them

I'm in on the idea that there are lots of things that exists outside what our 5 senses can experience, but I don't want to put myself into this or that. In my case that would probably just feel limiting. I just have one simple rule that I try to live by: do as you like as long as you don't hurt anyone else. Trying to experience the world as I go along, see it from different angles and then try to make sense of it. It can be very hard to do so, but I'm trying. That last thing is pretty much what I often try to do with my art and comics.

But although I try to not adhere to any specific belief system, religion in it self is a highly interesting topic.

I am a christian as well, basically like you.
Me, as a person, I don't drink or smoke nor like going to parties (but that is because of my personality). I'm not a fan of tattoos or piercings but if some one has them, well, its their problem not mine, that's what they like and I respect them, I just don't like them on me. Besides, I have turquoise hair, cuz thats how I roll and I bet some people think its weird. In sexuality, you do you, I may not agree with most of them but I still respect them because they are human beings and they deserve respect. With the swearing, I can only swear in english and with my friends, not with my family and I just CAN'T swear in spanish (my main language). Swearing in spanish is too mean and harsh imo...

Now, comic wise...
I just have 3 chapters done but my comic will have swear words and tattoos/piercings, people with different sexuality and implied sex before marriage because thats the real world and my comic is comedy/slice of life and I want to keep it as real as possible. I will keep it SFW of course 😋

As far as I have noticed, there are many types of christians. Some are just extremists and in my opinion, those are the worst.
Others think they are saints, like, bro, you're not. Stop it with the rainbows and unicorns...
Some others just think that they are christians just because they read the Bible or go to church.

They fail to understand that being a christian is a relationship with Christ and God, to BE and ACT like Jesus. It's not a religion.

There are some Christians out there that have a WWJD sticker on their car yet they do the complete opposite. Smh
