I´m a Christian Protestant.

I created a Christian manga, named Salvation about a group of Christians that uses the whole armor of God (Ephesians). I wanna create a manga about Bible, but something cool and talks about gospel! If you have time read it please!

I'm somewhere in-between agnostic and atheist (not sure if that makes sense lol), but I am also a very spiritual person. I'm a very open person though, so sometimes I go to church with my friends. But I cant lie, there were a couple times I fell asleep xD

Don't worry-- even the faithful nod off on occasion (just because we're church-goers doesn't mean we think sermons are fun)! I think it's cool of you to attend church with your friends even though you don't necessarily believe in what's being talked about. I suppose you go more to support or hang out with your friends, huh?
Either way, I think it's important to not be afraid or disdainful of other people's beliefs. I'd be more than happy to attend the worship service of someone of a religion very different than my own. Nor would I mistreat something someone else considered sacred.

Yes, I do go to hang out with my friends, but not only that, I've noticed that if you really open up your ears, some of the teachings can be very insightful. I don't believe in everything being told, rather, I just take in little things that I find meaningful and useful for my life.

Even though I don't believe in God, I do believe everyone should strive to become the best person they can be.

I don't know exactly what to call myself.
I believe in the paranormal, I believe in magic, I believe in an afterlife, I believe in a god, (though I sometimes make it seem like I believe in more than one) am okay with drawing demons, and believe everything has a soul, and that everything I make has a bit of myself in it, and I also believe that everything is connected in some ways.

I was born in a family where my parent (parent, because I've only ever known my mom, since my dad died when I was 10 months old) simply didn't care about what I chose to believe.

Yeah, I agree. I really think people can learn a lot of good things, even from those they don't necessarily agree with. People should listen to others, learn what meaningful lessons they can, accept what they agree with, and be civil in matters of what they do not agree with. And trying to be good, whatever their belief.
I think that is more important than what religion or belief system they follow.

Nobody knows if there is a god or not. you just believe in it. Its like a closed box and a guy says "there is an apple". You can believe him or deny him or tell "I can't know since it's closed". Religions are just varieties of apples. Agnosticism is being not sure and ateism is denying.

I don't think denying is the right word. It implies that the person knows the truth of the matter, but is refusing to admit or accept it. Or at the very least, it gives an impression of certainty.

Atheists simply do not believe, in exactly the same way 99.99% of people do not believe in Thor, Woden, Zeus etc, etc... Even if they accept that they can't know for sure.

I know what you mean. but I believe all the religions comes from the true one and just changed by the time and time. So the angels become god, the prophets become gods, things become gods, ordinary peoples become gods, names changed, stories changed etc etc... So I do not believe Thor, Zeus, or Sun as god but I believe they had(or have) some important mission.

I am a muslim, sunni btw. Best part is if you are a muslim you have to belive in Hz. Jesus, Hz. Moses, and all other prophets in past with Hz. Mohammed. So being muslim includes being chiristian and jewish. and also puts me in a peaceful life like hindu and question everything you heard agnostic(there is a saying like "if you have no doubt at all you have no belief" or something like that)... So I have a all in one super duper religion pack

Atheist, raised by catholic parents. They never ever told me what to draw or what not, but I've always loved including angels and demons in my comics, as well as dealing with the concept of afterlife.

The only thing my parents did teach me was to "shut up" because if I said anything about not believing "the others would look at me weird", so that should say quite a lot about how religious they are in truth.

I'm a Pentecostal Christian. Our practice is a little different from other Protestants in that we believe in Baptism by spiritual fire, rather than water. And I have experienced my spiritual Baptism- it nearly knocked me on my butt it was so intense!

Unfortunately there is a sect of Pentecostals that give a bad impression to other Protestants- they perform rituals involving the improper handling of poisonous snakes around children (tempting God, as it were), so as a result I've had Baptists and Evangelicals give me dirty looks for being a Pentecostal. (We also believe in Speaking in Tongues, which I've also been accused of demon worship with...)

As for my own beliefs, I believe God gave humanity free will for a reason. I can disagree with the practices of my fellow man, but I certainly won't tell them what to do with their life. I also don't like to judge someone for a case of sinning, as it would be hypocritical of me. I'm no pure dove. On the other hand, it irritates me when someone tries to use verses out of the Bible to insult my religion. It's often out of context AND from Old Testament, which no Protestant follows anyway- not to mention mistranslated. I suppose that's fairly common with the internet though- no body checks their sources. XD

I think there are a lot of misconceptions about atheism (some that I used to share), even in this thread we can see how the whole "atheism vs agnosticism" discussion is going on. This is kind of why I felt the need to make the main character of my comic a proper (at least from my perspective) skeptic, as characters like this usually aren't written to my liking.

I would also like to add that while there is a difference between statements about knowledge and belief, when we talk about knowledge we usually don't mean absolute certainty. Knowledge is a belief that's been proven beyond reasonable doubt.
Like I know gravity exists. But I could be living in the Matrix. But the former seems much, much more likely than the latter.
