I just finally finished my first one-shot comic's story board, and am collecting input from a few beta readers, getting ready to start drawing the real pages next week!
That said, my goals for the year are:
1.) To get started publishing! I actually joined Tapas a year and a half or so ago, with hopes to start publishing a long form fantasy comic I've had in my head since Middle School. But I quickly realized it's still not really thought out enough yet (it still has lots of half baked plot points and such) and that chaining myself to something like that right away was a bad idea, so although I drew 2 story boards and 8 finished pages for it, I never got publishing here x_x page 8 was completed in January, and February is when I decided I wanted to do some one-shots first!
2.) I'm going to try really hard to actually complete my one-shot by the end of the year (although not gonna beat myself up if I don't quite hit that goal lol)! It's looking to be like 66ish pages, so idk if it's feasible for someone just starting out like myself, but I'm gonna give it a shot anyways~ some of the pages might go quicker than others and what not and we'll see where I am in December I guess xD
