What do you imagine the characters in the webcomics you read sound like?

Maybe I'm a person with bad imagination but I don't know... If I would have to choose voice actor from a list I would tell why I won't choose any of them in order of the list. I'm too picky.

I can't always pinpoint the good voice actor for fan-casting, although I do have imagination what kind of voice the characters have but not always able to describe it.

Good thing about making a novel is, you give audience description how the character sounds like

And Build-a would sound like... Ragdoll (dub as seen here)- the build bots tend to sound like her as well but less bouncy unless singing.

Funnily enough, I also imagined that Ao Kuang the Dragon Butler would sound like John Delancie as well. (Also thought that king gufuu, the villians from my WIP comic DRGN, would also sound like him.)

@Rodimus13 I always thought QWERY would!d sound like a less sarcastic and mean GLADoS from Portal. (Why your stuff reminds me so much of Valve video games, I have no clue...)

@ghostieblu also after thinking about it, I kind of think that Xenor would sound a bit like John Mulaney. (Spider ham from into the spider verse)

Sorry for the double post.

@alliascompany I was recently rewatching Tiger and Bunny (great anime that you all should check out if you have the time) and I realized that I think that Rainy would probably sound like Barnaby Brooks Jr from that show. You knwo, a bit young, but mature sounding and somewhat aloof and detached. In other words, I think that he'd sound like Yuri Lowenthal.

erena doesn't have that much of an accent if any, but she just likes to talk... sophisticatedly. (I'll edit this post when I can think of a character to do)

That's a bit of what I was thinking of as well. There was this one specific character from a movie or TV show I'd think she'd sound like, but I cant remember who they are. (I wanna say Cruella DeVil, but I know that's not the one I'm thinking about.)

Yeah, definitely will! What do you think Xenor would sound like? I also imgained that Josie would probably sound like a more emotive version of Raven from Teen Titans.

well I think josie would probably just sound like an average young teenage girl who usually talks sarcastically.. but not like raven. she sounds much older. as for xenor I honestly haven't heard anything close to what I imagine him to sound like except one character that's from like dragon ball or something but that wasn't even too close so, I don't really know

That makes sense for Josie actually. As for Xenor, I recently saw into the spider verse the other week and really liked Spider Ham. Thought that his more dry, yet cartoony comedic voice would work for your guy.

@Chita I also realized that Laura Bailey could also work for Flare while we're on Fire Emblem voice actors as headcanon voices.

@ghostieblu I don't pick up many voices for other people's characters but I always imagine Erena with Hikasa Yoko's villain voice, not that it's something she does very often but she manages to be regal and refined and wicked, when she does it it screams evil queen. She also ended up being the Japanese dub va for Weiss in RWBY.

WARNING: the second one is a bit gruesome (ok quite a bit) but blond big sis it the voice I imagine her with and one of her best villain roles.

I kind of find it hard to compare if the voice actress is speaking another language.. but in the second clip I feel like she sounds more sadistic and quieter than erena would

Hey, I never really thought about their actual voices, but the ones you mentioned are amazingly similar to what I had in mind!!
Mathew mercer really suits Shade, but I think his voice would be slighty deeper than Chrom's.
Also Lucina's voice is almost perfect for Flare, so great job!!

Thanks! Glad I was spot on! (Funnily enough, Matthew Mercer was also one of the choices I thought of for my Flare, so that's a funny coincidence.)
