I procrastinate with almost everything. It's gotten better throughout the years, but now with everything that's going on nowadays, I find it resurfacing because I'm working from home xD There's too many distractions. Even things I am passionate about, if I don't push myself to start them (and I have to also push myself to also pick them up again whenever I take a break) then it'll be quite some time before I begin. I pep myself up and keep telling myself to do it now, NOW! xD Once I start, I don't let myself take too many long breaks until I am at a point I am content with. When I take breaks, I try to time myself. I work better with schedules and organization. So I pretend I'm still at school. 30 minutes for this or that xD
If I take breaks, I find it's wonderful to have something enriching or helps the mind keep working and challenging it. When I am on a little longer break (kind of like a couple hour vacation xD) then I do something that doesn't take much energy or brain power, but still is engaging enough to make me think and keep interest. I like watching youtube videos because they're entertaining but there are also some youtubers who do touch on some interesting conversation topics. Makes me feel like even if I'm not doing something entirely productive, I am helping my mind stay active.
