Idk about the vibes of "actually, the other religion just met another version of the abrahamic god". It infantilizes them to such an aspect that it ignores a lot of them came before or didn't have contact for centuries.
Like, say, hinduism. Brahma/Vishnu (not gonna get into the different sects here) is on the same level as the abrahamic god, but there's so much distinction in worship, pantheism, and their actions on the universe. Jainism believes the universe's existence to be heavenly yet has no creator god. Buddhism has devas, but the universe's cyclical nature is more important than having a top dude. And a whole deal with any number of polytheistic beliefs.
It's important to remember that in the western world, we still take a ton of stuff for granted when it comes to religion - like atheists that have specific gripes with organized religion yet paint everyone with the same brush. Approaching things with the view that we're right, they just interpreted our right differently is a bad slippery slope.
