What does it take for an intro to lose you?
Author/creator commenting on the story and characters on the page.
ex: Page with Two of the MCs kissing
A/N: Oh yeah! It's about to get steamy now! Hold on to your horses! Look at dem lips! Get yo man boy!
Nothing makes me drop a comic faster than that.
How long are you willing to wait for things to get interesting?
Not too long. especially in an ongoing comic. I'd rather wait for multiple updates and read it in bulk. Which is messed up cause my own comic started off too slow even for my liking so I ended up doing something that would have irked me while reading someone else comic.
What are the things that make you reconsider dropping?
If I at least like the characters or if the story has some intrigue.
What makes you stick with one medium longer than the other (books vs movie vs comics)?
I prefer movies and TV to comics and books. I love watching the scenes play out with voices and acting etc. I like hearing the emotion etc. And if it's an anime, I like hearing the voices of the characters. That's why I'm testing the waters for making a motion comic
How long was the intro in your story?
If you mean, before it gets to the action. Too long. I wish I would have trimmed it up.
