Like I do with most font topics that pop up, I'm really going to have to recommend anything on http://www.blambot.com/1.3k

Their licence for free fonts is ideal and works for webcomics

If you are an independent/small press comic creator, you may use Blambot free fonts in your comic book project--even if you are making money with your project--even if you use the fonts printed on merch in support of your comic. (This excludes Embedding, Webfont, and Redistributive use.) This is Blambot's way of supporting the independent comic community, and applies only to indie/small press comic book creators.

And their paid fonts are really not that expensive at all. It's where I go for most of my fonts and I can't recommend it enough.

As for finding one that works, I usually download a few free ones that I think might work and them out on the same page (replacing the font and resaving as a new jpg) then go back and forth comparing them. It's a little more difficult to do with paid fonts since you can't do that but for me I don't invest in a paid font until after I've worked with my series for a while, when I know and am used to actually seeing the complete pages it's much easier to spot that font style that'll just work great for it.

Use whatever you like as long as its legible, and "fits" your art.

the font youre using seems pretty good to me; it's the classic manga font, and your comic is very manga style. if youre having copyright problems with it, theres lots of free fonts similar to that going around.

I always write my comics by hand to give it a more personal touch. It is time consuming though!
