What hand do you draw with?

As a kid I was doing lineart with the right hand and filling with left hand.
I'm not good enough at it anymore to make it a valuable skill, and it's only useful for traditional, but I suppose that if I was losing my right hand I would manage relatively well with the left quickly.
I never though of that, it would be nice to be able to use two pens on my tablet, as sloppy filling can be corrected later.

Righty here! I suffer from chronic pains, so at one point I also taught myself how to draw with my left hand as well, but I never got good at that. Still, if I'm doing traditional art and my right hand gets tired I can switch to my left hand for less detailed parts.

My right hand! And usually my forefinger and thumb while drawing, but when I had an accident with a vegetable mandolin I had to draw with my middle, fourth, and thumb worst day of my life .

You need faster drying ink or a different pencil lead. 2B is pretty soft and tends to smear for me too if it's not sharp enough. Also, don't be afraid to rotate the page around! When I'm working on trad, I might as well work on a lazy susan, I move the paper around so much!

Ohh I see! Ahh yeah I tend to use 2B lead so that could definitely be the issue. And I'll try rotating the page more, I guess I tend to forget that I can do that. Thanks a bunch for the tips!!

Right handed for mostly every thing. My left hand is only good at one thing, holding stuff(with weak grip strength at that). My older siblings were mostly lefties fun enough. I tried to write with my left and all I manage was something akin to chicken scratches on the road.

We're both right-handed, but we were told that at least one of us used to be left-handed when we were kids. I always open bottles and jars with my left hand. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'm currently right-handed, but I was originally a lefty when I was a child. I used to be ambidextrous back then, but my mom taught me how to use my right hand more since writing using the left one can be sort of difficult because the words are blocked with the palm.

Right. Wish I could draw with my left to take the strain off my right since I’ve got Carpal Tunnel but it just looks horrible.
