What insect would you be?

Oooh! I love insects and arachnids.

Okay. I'd be a Carpenter Ant. I work. A lot, and I'm very dedicated to my job. Also when it comes to art, I'm really tenacious and put my head down and practice as much as I can.
I can be really sarcastic sometimes so I've got a bit of a bite, and...I've been known to eat toothpicks. XD (when I was younger. Also ants. I ate a lot of ants as a kid. Don't ask.)

I was little, and I liked how tangy they were xD I'd just sit there and smash them with my finger. Also I'd read about those Honeypot Ants that store a sweet type of honey in their abdomen, so I wanted to find out if all ants were like that. They weren't.

I'd probs be a bee haha, I work hard, I love sweet stuff and I'm short, chubby and soft. (Also relatively harmless unless I'm really out to get you.)

When I got older I liked to have different kinds of predatory insects fight each other. Assassin Bug vs Praying Mantis ended pretty epically. They double ko'd each other.

Nowadays...I look back and realize I was pretty uh...cruel to insects.

I like pill bugs a lot, they're adorable and look like a bug form of an armadillo, since I'm kind of a shy person in real life, I think they're kind of fitting for me. And they also hold a special place in my heart because me and my siblings used to have them crawl onto our hands as kids. To be honest, I wasn't really a bug person as a kid, BUT my appreciation and interest in them has changed when I got older. Pill bugs were the only bug I loved as a kid even when I was afraid and disliked bugs back then.

uwu they look like they're ready for battle with their armor body but they're so shy and will roll up in a ball, it's just so juxtaposed to what you'd think xD I love them. I remember we tried keeping some in a tank, but they escaped, so yeah, I hear ya xD They're like "You can't contain me, human! I was born to have a ball" (get it? xD) Do you name your pill bugs?

i sadly can't, since they reproduce so much. they do have a big tank but i have like..250 of them..or maybe up to 300? it's hard to count since so many are under the mud/wet wood

Fireflies! They just seem super chill overall! They don't bother anyone, they're not likely to be bothered either bc apparently, they don't taste good for their predators. Bonus points for having a bright butt that makes any scenery nice to look at
