What is TapProm and TapSchool?

I saw a post that said the outfits were designed by Jazz and they said that anyone can draw themselves in these outfits so I guess it's for everyone??. Not sure if they're actually connected to anything or if it's just a fun idea. I'll try to find out.

The people that make popular slice-of-life comics like Jose, Yuu, Gemsona, etc have quite a few things that they all do together, both for fun and to boost each-others popularity. Like they did that bucket-thing on April Fool's day, too. The TapProm and all seems to just be more of that. As for whether they all do it by invite or if anyone with a slice-of-life comic can do it, I dunno.
If there's any popular people reading this with inside information, I'd also love to know how this works XD

Hmm... It seems that this comic is really old and is just being reuploaded. This could possibly be the starting point for it all?

Yes . . . 2014, it appears. The uniform designs have a few similarities, so it's the first thing that came to mind.

I also never got a real prom prom I went to a 60 student high school so it wasn't really very good but I would love to draw a sparkly dress <3

From what I've seen, that's pretty much the main idea(?). Also involves "asking" other artists out to it.

I should probably be drawing my own Tap Prom attire by now, but I fear too many people would kill to get me for their date. (Just kidding).

Never had a school prom either, mostly because they are called a school formal in Australia. Didn't go to that either.

Okay, I got it. Probably started from this drawing by Yuu. Some person named Mochi had an idea for a Tap Prom, and Yuu went along with it and drew herself a prom dress. Everybody followed suit.

But it looks like the general consensus is that TapSchool and TapProm are for all? Yeee! <3 Exciting stuff!
