I get told that a lot with my projects. I tend to use techniques that take LOTS of time. I timed myself one day, and in 12 hours I had finished the lion's portrait painting.
just in painting. The lining I did in only 1 hour since I used a reference.
that said, I could see how maybe subs would be few and far between for this sort of thing. Nobody typically wants a painted graphic novel, they want pretty lines with vivid colors from PS or some other suite of software. like I said I can make two completed pages in under 4 weeks. However, as I stated it's only 12 hours to paint an entire piece, I could for instance, complete a painting in about 2 or 3 days, and just keep painting, for a week solid and have 2 or 3 paintings ready for scanning.
Perhaps that should be my shedule? then I would be creating a backlog...
EDIT: Almost forgot. I take a day to record music on my violin for each episode
I basically stare at the two pages and play what I feel is in the works.
