I think Hands are one of mines across various styles, I do 'lots of sharp hand-poses' in Real life too
In the webcomic series, I restricted the hand poses to Evan as it fits his vibe
(mostly seen here on his right hand since he wields his spit sword in the Left Hand, even when his hand is 'fisted' around his blade, his index and pinky is sometimes still loose expecially when he's holding a smaller blade)

When i drew him in Retro Disney style - was fun trying to get the pose on his right hand

Tried to maintain different quirks and personalities for other characters but it can be seen from time to time on others (wip art of Issandro)

Concept Art that became referance for the 3d, was still toying back then, looseness in the left hand

Grew up around family who do both Indian Classical Dance and Bollywood Dance, did a bit when i was around 5-7 ish lol so have a feeling some of those loose finger gestures stuck with me without realising XD I remember I went somewhere a few years ago and a woman I met who was a Salsa Dancer ask me if I do Indian dance (just out of the blue), I asked howcome she asked, and she said it's the way I pose my feet lol
Mohini (some old art) and plan to use for another series does lots of hand-sy poses too, more intentional since she takes some inspiration from Classical Indian Dance (when I revisit in future, would be loosely inspired by Bharat Natyam). Also she got some a them swirlies in her hair too XD

loose index and pinky again:

I sorta jump styles often, but I think these are my core style. Another re-ocurring theme is the heavy use of patterns (used to make lots of patterns and recycle them on various characters, since it fit the Indian/Eastern themes)
loose claws too lol

Another old piece from another story idea I had, tried to keep it 'masculine' in his case while keeping those fingers and toes feeling loose
