What is your process in making comic?

I haven't really worked on my own comics enough to have refined a process. Sometimes I start by just free-form writing in a graph notebook https://onplanners.com/notebooks/best-graph-notebooks, and then I go back and break things out into panels. Other times I have a really clear idea of how I want a visual gag to work, so I thumbnail everything out and go back and fit in the text later.

depending on my mood, basically, if i'm in a cruddy mood, i slow right down to 1 page in 3 days
if im in a good mood i can finish 3-4 pages in a day

i start out by roughing the page, then i rerough the characters, then i ink everything, then colour, then bubbles and affects
