I listen to alt/pop rock bands from back in my teen days. My Chemical Romance is still one of my favourite band, as a dude in his mid-20s. I'm actually playing Taking Back Sunday right now. I also like a few metal/heavier bands Mastodon, A7X from "back in the day" (I know, it's not metal for a while now), and I do like the album Altered State from TesseracT. And some odd sound tracks here and there (One Punch Man, BoJack Horseman, Permaband, if that counts :p).
I have a slightly weird taste sometimes. When I really need to concentrate, like when I have to write a paper for school, I need something that doesn't have lyrics. So I listen to bag pipe musics. I actually bought a record of a bag pipe marching band from a thrift store semi-recently (I hope I don't sound like some pretentious douche, I'm not I swear). It's battle music, so it gets me pumped up and ready for work. Boosts my morale. Slightly related, I don't know if it counts as weird, but I do like folk metal with bag pipes in it.
