Suppose an 'Accidental Pervert' situation occurs in that Character A accidentally falls on top of Character B and they land in a suggestive position. It's clear this was accidental and Character A immediately gets up and apologises, but Character B displays some clear trauma responses to what just occurred. Should this be tagged Sexual Violence/Abuse, Mental Health, both, neither, or something else entirely?

Personally, I'd do both just to be safe, but I honestly couldn't tell you if "Sexual Violence/Abuse" truly fits. However, I think "Mental Health" fits pretty well.

Yeah, I was thinking there's no sexual abuse going on in the scene, but the scene might be hard to read for the same people who find sexual abuse scenes especially hard to read whereas 'mental health' is quite general, so idk :'D

For me, it also matter how you depict the scene.

If its comedy, with funny faces, and no special innuendo, I don't see the problem. Most manga do things like this, comedy or not. Naruto and Sasuke kissed almost in the first chapter like this.

But if the face of the characters are like this with a dialogue like 'no, senpai fell on my special place, kya!':

...then the fall was just an excuse for hentai and should be tagged.

If it wasn't malicious on the part of character A then I'm not sure. Probably both but if you have to pick only one I'd say mental health. If character A feels regret and you focus on how they both feel afterward then probably both. Seems like an interesting situation to explore good luck with it

I do, but not in the same episode. It doesn't come up again until later, and I will be tagging that one accordingly. So yeah, idk about this one. Thanks for the wish of luck :]

The scene does have sexual implications, but not in a horny kind of way but also not in a family friendly 'oops I kissed you' kind of way. Basically, instead of beings like 'no, senpai fell on my special place, kya!' or punching the accidental pervert in the face and calling him baka, the character kind of stares into space like they're dissociating and breathes shakily?

I don't see how it would require a mature tag? But I guess it really depends, like how the scene is depicted. If there is anything somewhat explicit, or if your story is normally super child friendly, G-rated stuff, I can see how you may want to put the scene behind a maturity rating. If the character's trauma response is severe, or you depict it in a dramatic/super serious way, I guess you can put in a mental health and/or SA tag? Although if it's something nonchalant like one of those scenes where a dude falls on a chick and grabs her boobs by accident, unless they're undressed in any way, I don't see how it would need to be tagged. But that's just me, kids nowadays are super sensitive to indie works that aren't Barney levels of wholesome, so I'm probably not the best judge. Also there's the whole Apple thing, if you think the corporation holding Tapas' wallet ransom will want it behind a mature tag, it may be best to comply.

This; it's not supposed to be a funny gag or anything like that :'D (But I can't deny that I don't have at least a little bit of paranoia about people getting mad at me for not being Barney levels of wholesome and corporate shenanigans as well :no_mouth:)

Then go for a tag if you feel that's best, but don't do a tag if it feels like too much. I already posted my opinion, but to add on everyone has their own thresholds with their stories. I only use the mature tag for explicit stuff like nudity, gross stuff, or graphic violence because the story overall has mature topics so my readers won't be blindsided. (Like, I'd probably have to tag almost every page on profanity alone. Lmao!) Although things like what was mentioned can cause strong reactions depending on context and graphicness... also nudity is just restricted to adults anyway because the human body = sex thing.

As long as you put up an age rating and general CW you can at least defend yourself. If you get some kid trying to tell you up you can at least say "Hey, I put up a warning, it's your own fault for reading." Regarding Apple, I'm not sure if the staff still does this but once upon a time I occasionally contact the staff for their opinions on explicit pages. Of course that was back before the mature content ban, so they were totally fine with everything, but you may be able to get their feedback still if you don't feel confident about whether a scene is too mature or not for their corporate overlords. Maybe via the Discord server, or an email, I'm not sure if the staff here deal with that stuff but you can give it a try.

Hmmm ... the 'tags are relative to the tone of your series' part is worth thinking about. My comic probably isn't mature throughout; it starts off pretty chill then undergoes 'cerberus syndrome' after the first arc. I did include a warning upfront that my comic will eventually deal with difficult stuff, but I don't know how much water written warnings hold wrt site rules :'D Thanks for the advice! :]

Yeah, like you don't see horror stories with tags for every uncomfortable thing, they're usually designated for the hardcore stuff because readers know they're getting into something dark with the horror label. But uh, tags definitely won't help keep you for the site rules. I'm sure your comic will be fine on the desktop site since in all it's full frontal nude glory is, but if you want to reach as many readers as possible...well, yeah. ANYWAYS your welcome! Hope it helped in some way, and good luck!
