lols i was surprised myself. when i saw the run time i thought id get bored for sure

but the movie is really compelling.such a classic

Can't argue with you there.

What are some of your favorite movies?

oh man! i havent seen these! awesome i have something to look forward to 🤣

Honestly, my all-time favorite movie is Gosford Park. And I've never met another human being who agrees. Most think I was on opioids at the time for me to suggest it. But literally every time I see that movie I see another layer. It's absolute genius.

ooh! another gem id like to see!

what do you like most about it?

The director (I forget his name, he's dead now) told all his actors "whenever you're in front of the camera, it's your movie. You're the star." And he let them collaborate, and really bring pieces of themselves to their roles. So when you watch it you see little side plots going on everywhere, there's like 50 other movies within the movie. Because there could be.

interesting. sounds like a complex movie.

what other movies do you like?

Anything twisty and complex that I'm still thinking about the following week makes my list.

The Sixth Sense
The Butterfly Effect
The first Matrix movie
Book of Eli

Also a lot of old musicals that are probably highly politically incorrect today.

Brigadoon
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
White Christmas
1776
etc

nice list!

the sixth sense terrified me! and the plot twist blew my mind! :scream:

I've been rewatching the classic James Bond movies, specifically Diamonds Are Forever, The Man with the Golden Gun, and The World Is Not Enough. Surprisingly, they help to fuel my creativity while I'm making art.

nice! i love bond films!

thanks for reminding me of the classic ones, gonna download those soon

I've been using these free Redbox rental coupons that I've been collecting the whole year this week(they expire after 12/31) so I rented 47 Meters Down: Uncaged to watch tonight.
