What´s the best schedule for a novel?

Hello there, people

I´m the new cannon fodder of this website (I got no proof of this though, but no doubts either). I´ve recently started uploading a story and was wondering, when would be the best time to publish it? When are there more vict... I mean, readers?

Or does it depend on the story itself and it´s not so much about the time?

I must say, I was planning on uploading once a week. Mine is a BL story, settled in the victorian era. It´s a slow burn romance with plenty of comedy, adult characters and non toxic relationships (at least for the main characters)

I don't think there's a set time, the site just defaults to the next hour when you're posting. At least, it does for me (so if I am uploading at 10:30 and hit "schedule", the default time is 11:00). As to what is a good time, I wish I knew! But I do think the story is the most important thing. Good luck with it

The best upload time is the secret everyone wants to know, lol. There's been quite a few topics talking about when would be the best time to upload. Generally weekends are pretty good because people are free from school/work. It's hard to say exact hour because that depends a lot where your main audience is from.
I upload at 4 am PST. That way it's in the sub box for EST readers when they wake up and reaches the start of the afternoon for European viewers. But you could probably afford to upload later than that as well. I've heard people say 11am - 2 pm EST is generally pretty good time.

As for the upload schedule, once a week is pretty common and works. The most important thing is to stay consistent.
