What software do you use to make your novel/comic?

That sounds like way way too much work. Does paint tool sai not have a text tool? There are lots of other good free art programs that do, like FireAlpaca and Krita... You should be able to do everything in one program.

Our PaintToolSAI was the outdated version, I am not sure if there are a text tool from the updated version of it. Thanks for the suggestion, I would try those. ; w ;

I use an app called artstudio to make my comic.

I use Medibang Paint Pro. It's free and it has a bunch of useful tools.

For writing plots and stories, I use Evernote since it can synchronize between devices so I can switch between my phone and my laptop whenever I want.

For drawing comic, I use Photoshop for now. Might try out clip studio paint in the future.
For just drawing illustration, I use Paint tool Sai because it is lighter. I kinda switch between Photoshop and Paint tool Sai occasionally

Good ol' Google Docs for writing and Clip Studio Pro for drawing.

Scrivener and Google docs for the writing. Editing is Grammarly, the Hemingway editor, Edit minion, and Slick write.

I use word for the initial typing process, and then I use Grammerly and another editing program for the editing. I do use a few of Scrviner's features, mostly the name generator, to help out a bit.

I use Medibang Pro and Adobe Illustrator. For the script, I use an app called Writer Plus

For prose + scripting I use microsoft word on a 2001 iBook (I dunno why but I write so much better on this really old laptop... not complaining as it was really cheap)

Then for comic pages I use CLIP Studio Paint. You can basically do everything with it since it was first created for comics!

I started my web comic with Adobe Photoshop Elements 4. Then I moved on to Adobe Photoshop Elements 14. Now I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2018.

For my novels, I write it on Tapas lol and then to save it, I just schedule it farrrrr ahead in time until I finish that chapter. This sounds really dumb I know, but I don't like using word, nor do I use google docs (mainly because all of my school assignments are in there and I don't want to get it jumbled up with my novel)

@inevitabley Get a separate google email for your writing, you will gain a separate google docs account, that way your writing and assignments can't get mixed up.

If I'm novel/script writing I use Microsoft word and then put it through Grammarly (free version) for spell checking and what not. Art wise I use Manga Studio 5 (recently renamed as Clip Studio).
