There's three bands that heavily inspired by current comic, Galebound, and a future project: Marianas Trench, Amaranthe, and Pendulum. (MT for Galebound, the latter two for the future project). There will even be some major references, like the term 'toy soldiers' is, in-world, a derogatory term for certain people, but the idea came from Marianas Trench's album Ever After.
There are other songs that are specifically "theme songs" for characters in my head. For example, Heavenly Blue and Lapis Lazuli by Amalee are theme songs for a pair of characters. She's got some good stuff, definitely worth checking out especially since you mention liking anime music.
