becasue it is not a topic, it is just a poll.
you just click on it on discord.
and it is up to you not to response it

I didn't see the original polls, but if the mod who deleted it felt uncomfortable with the topics or the way you worded the poll question, then other users could have as well. I'm sure it was just a preventative measure to avoid anything heated blowing up. Sometimes people will dogpile onto some posters too, so maybe you dodged a bullet.

I don't know. I didn't see the original poll. People have different barometers when it comes to determining what's on the line between what's acceptable to talk with others about or not. So like your poll, any and all of those topics could be controversial or not at all depending on the person you ask.

Though I hope you recognize that no one is talking about the actual controversial topics the OP mentioned, right. It quickly derailed into discussion about pizza toppings which is only controversial if your entire personality is based on what you like on your pizza.

And also pineapple on pizza is sacrilege @darthmongoose, though not as much as mayo is. ugh...

yes, that's the point, a poll is suppose no one will talk about it.
but a poll on discord is one can press a button to participate on it.

yes, and a person can actually select all, coz the poll is multiple selection.
we can only make that kind of poll on discord.
it is not some highly intelligent poll

so the reason why i open here and seems like the mods team here are the same. is that the way you guys handle stuff. i tot previously you would pm people to solve problem

The forums operate a little differently from how discord does simply because of the nature of each platform. Here posts can be flagged for review so they tend to sit a while longer. Topics can be locked from new responses or unlisted.

On discord, posts cannot be flagged or automatically hidden. So they have to be deleted if we feel they will cause problems or are against the rules.

So why didn't you try to pm a different mod instead of coming to the forums and duplicating your discord post. Without a poll I might add.
