Hi again friend

Remiel indeed looks awesome, nice work on the clothing details and capturng that traditional/ fanatsy look on all of them, some of the shapes on them expecially Ione remind me of nature and leaves whick is real cool, kee it up!

Because my current series takes place in Modern Day, it's easy to improvise
but for more traditional or otherworldy caracters I do a solid 2d concept 1st
this is for another series (much older than the current series too) plan to publish here eventually

With my current series, I find myself putting less effort in my 2d drafts, and doing more details on the actual 3D design.
The other major thing that helps me is that I first have their Caracter details written out, Occupation, Contribution to Comic, History and Personal Interests.
Enjoy adding elements on their designs for the reader to theorise more about the character.
This was Issadro's Rough

n the 3d (his back is still wip lol but plan to have it done when he shows up)

For the latest wip character, this was the 2d draft

And her WIP 3d had lots of additional improvizing based on the Character Details Writup.
The series takes place in an outbreak and wanted reders to imply she's a worker at 'game go', a spoof of 'game stop' (recycled old character designs for the buttons).

Some improvisation too, didnt make the bag (saw it on a black friday sale for a buck & it gave me some ideas lol).... It would also help cut other unecessary scenes as she can carry useful props to aid the other MCs. And gave her a Game Go lanyard hangng out.

Having things written down 1st also helped me imagine she had a rough night before the MCs meet her
