I worked as a substitute for a couple years before getting my credential, and I gotta say it was great having that flexibility while I worked on my comic. I super miss that.

I work at a winery! I pour wine and talk to people (and sell wine, obviously), and they pay me to do it. It's only part time, but it's easily the lowest-stress job I've ever worked.

(Oh, and wine I buy at other local wineries is tax deductible, so that's fun.)
