I felt unmotivated for a long time. I was trying to finish my novel Lady Death, but at the same time, I had come up with some amazing ways to re-write and change the story and that new version was all I could think about.
I came across this quote online and it really spoke to me, "You fail only if you stop writing,"
I realized i was sabotaging myself by trying to do both books at once. I kept getting confused and it was starting to be something I dreaded. So, I finished Lady Death, but finding a natural ending spot for the book. I did not feel bad about doing it that way, because I had noticed the quality of my writing was becoming less and less as I forced myself to keep writing. Stopping gave the story a good ending, and has allowed me to put my full attention on my re-write and the idea of the series that is coming out of this one book
