Depends, there are plenty of stock photo sites such as Unsplash that are useful in that regard, there's always the old reliable in Pinterest or just scrolling Instagram. For posing I recommend playing with JustSketchMe3, its a webapp with posable 3D models! (there's a fee for certain features but its fine on its own imo) but there's also accounts like adorkastock that specialise in pose references.

Those are my best resources, I hope you find them useful as well!

So i try to hoard as many places for references as possible but my start points for searching have varied from google searches to social media sites (i.e. twitter, tumblr or pinterest) and then just known resource websites. So all that said these are some places I've used or found from other folks

Poses

Design Doll by Terawell1 - program has to be downloaded on a pc/laptop

Magic Poser3 - link leads to webapp version but it also has a mobile app1

AdorkaStock on DeviantArt

Kibbitzer on Deviantart (also has a Pinterest account with collected references they've made)

and for convenience sake a whole thread from here on the forums that compiles some more pose resources

there's also the built in 3d models that Clip Studio Paint offers if you happen to use their software

Rooms, backgrounds and other environments can get a little more complicated depending on what you want to achieve but you'll likely be combining assets or elements from a number of different places. Again I'll note that there's folks who've built assets using CSP's 3d models and assets but there's also

3D Software

Room Builders

Map making tools if you want to get that detailed about setting

These tutorials from Vampbyte

You can also try photo bashing with images from sites like these

Even Google Maps and Street View can be useful if you know how to fudge it

Overall any combination of these can be put to use along with just exploring images on a search engine or taking photos of your own. There's also just building or buying pose able dolls, play sets and dioramas to work from and build on in your drawings/comics it's just a matter of knowing what's accessible to you

If you are looking for real models, not 3d models, it's easy. Go to any porn site (bear with me), go to the picture section, softcore. Change between gay and straight depending if you want male or female models. Most porn sites also let you narrow your search to your type so you can literally search for the body type, ethnicity, and other features you are looking for. You have years of nude models to pick from. Cheaper than life drawing courses.

Me aswell. Visiting some nice old towns is amazing. But I also found using a sketchbook to capture some scenes help a ton to improve and build up your artistic library. Ok I'm from europe so I have it way easyer. as an alternative, you can also google some nice places like -Rothenburg ob der Tauber - An absolute amazing medival town in germany. There are many pictures just from google alone.

Depends on what I draw. Poses came with experience, hands I do take photos of myself, if it's some very specific things like interiors or exteriors I usually do google thesd things, look then up and summarize it together and kinda draw it my own way

I build my own references for buildings. The good thing about it is that you can place your
characters in it and you can stay consistent. I use sweethome3d and homedesign3d.

I use figurosity for poses, they also have animals

I sometimes use sketchfab.com for 3d model references
