Where do you promote your work?

I've always used Discord and the forum itself to promote my novel, but I wanted other people to share their strategies.

I see that many people use social networks like instagram and tiktok to share their stories. To be honest, I'm terrible at creating content on social media, so I wanted to know what methods you use.

And of course, feel free to mention other ways of promoting yourself

Tumblr and instagram! I post excerpts on tumblr, and people actual seem to read them over there while they don't draw attention on ig and tiktok. On it I post art

Was only getting like 20 views a month, recently this past week switched to BlueSky and its SO much better.
Meta platforms restricts for PG13 only so BlueSky lets me do 14+.
But those are for tease ads to direct where I want people read. I don't post the full censored and uncensored pages on them.
I only post them full versions on manga READ platforms I use.
Just easier because my layout is manga not webtoon template format.
