Which color pallet is better?

like the title says. please turn your attention to these three shitty ass doodies made for the sole purpose of this demonstration:

the first is basically the colors i usually choose; high saturated and bright to make it look cartoony

second is much more desaturated and muted and was meant to emulate the look of anime in the 80s and 90s

third is sort of an in between; slightly brighter than 2 but not as saturated as 1

is there even a significant difference or am i just being crazy?

It's just my personal opinion, but I like the brighter colors a lot more, I think it goes hand-in-hand with your adorable art style.

And yes, there's definitely a notable difference.

Actually liked the man most in the first pallet, the pink haired girl in the second pallet and the blue haired girl in the third pallet

I think it depends on the genre of your story. If it's dark and serious you should pick the retro or in between but if it's humor bright colors are better.

Take it from someone who reads your comic, I think the colors could be toned down. Even if the colors are unsaturated, they will still pop against your usually dark backgrounds.
