Who here is making comic strips (like Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts, etc.)

I want to know where my fellow cartoonists are at. If you're making comic strips like the kind that come in news papers, that's what I'm looking for!

Kind of. All of my pages are presented like 4 panel comic strips. I do try to make every page work as a standalone strip, while also telling a continuous story. The simpler ones I'd certainly call newspaper comics, but the ones that are really complex/have tons of panels, are basically a graphic novel page with a 4 panel border.

Bookmarking this for when Robin! comes out! First episode will be posted on the 2nd of December but unlike newspaper comics it will only update once a week. (I'm only human and have other projects going on.)

oh thanks. But aren't they also called comic strips to differentiate them from long-form comics?

"Haru and Tsukasa" is basically a comic strip repurposed into the format of a webtoon. It's why each episode is shorter than your typical webtoon, and why each episode is essentially standalone.

Forgot to reply to this, but I guess so? I don't know, not too familiar with the history of newspaper comics. Though for me it woud be confusing because where I live instead of comic books or comics we call them stripboeken of strips regardless if they're in a short format like that.
