Oh, I'm actually very good with hands, but not much else. I forced myself to draw them all the time. I remember as a kid, all I had for references were dolls and their hands were so tiny and fused together that it wouldn't work. I then came across something similar to this that helped me "visualize" hands into shapes and from that point onward it was easier:
It's how I broke down hands: 1. base is a trapezoid, fingers are 3 segmented..thumb is a radical.
Then, I paid attention to the webbing between the fingers, the knuckles when fingers were bent, and the hardest...when perspective comes into play! My hands (or any human parts) aren't always perfect, but I never avoid drawing them:
