I think that´s something that changed a lot in the last 20 years and can´t be compared to how it was 70 years ago.
In the 1950s there were comics for boys and comics for girls.
Movies in the 1980s when I was a teenager it was divided too, the girls watching dirty dancing, the boys watching rambo
I think the society, movies and comics got more diverse in the last 20 years and you would have gotten totally different answers asking a question like that 30 years ago
