Also I l really enjoy the webcomic making process more than anything else in my life. I dont know anything else that I can focus on for hours on end and feel fulfilled after I'm done.

Writing is the only thing that keeps me happy, and I like to share my ideas/stories. Even when I become homeless, I'll still write, even if it's tissue paper. I connected with many creative people by writing and sharing my stories online. So yeah, writing is the only thing keeping me here.

I´m reading all of your interesting answers but I know that I can´t answer this.
It´s not that I haven´t tried, I´m 46 and live like that all my life. I didn´t want to go to kindergarten,
school or any of the non creative jobs I had to do to survive

I want to emotionally move other people with my work. I sincerely believe that while my art is plain and mediocre, my writing and characterization are anything but plain.

It's a passion that I want to bring forth and once you start getting into it, it becomes a great addiction rather being addicted to something that can be harmful.

After years coming up with ideas and still do, I decided to settle with "Lyza's Sandstorm" because I do believe in it.

And from there, I did inspire couple of friends to start regardless of art/writing quality but if you believe in what you do, you see the story and characters grow before your eyes.

I just love the feeling of doing things other people enjoy. Writing/drawing is my personal safe haven and what I'm better at. It's not like I'm a good artist, but time will say. I also fear being forgotten, on the other side.

I'd say both the feelings of "I'm unbearably happy because you liked my work" and "I don't want to disappear completely one day" are my primary motivations.
