I'm having problems with showing my subscribers that I have updated my comic.

Details:
I added 2 new pages into the same episode the past two Wednesdays, but it says that I have not updated the series since around 3 weeks ago. I clicked "send notifications" and I suspect that it did not do this either.

My username is Blucherrysoda and the series is Cedars of God, linked below is the series for convenience if needed.

Please let me know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks you guys,
Vincent Chow (BCS)

Good question! This is something important to understand about Tapas updates/notifications:

when you publish a new update/episode, all of your readers get a notification under the "bookmarks" tab/icon, and it gets assigned a new date/etc. and appears on the "Fresh" section of the website.

When you update an existing episode and click "send notification", it does notify your readers, but it does so under the "Bell" notifications, which only PC readers get to see. That tab just doesn't exist on the app lol. Similarly the date isn't updated, it doesn't go back up on fresh, etc.

Generally speaking you only want to use the update function to fix errors on pages (or potentially add new banners to the top/bottom/etc.). If you use the update feature to add new content, a lot of readers wont see it, sadly.

Ah I see, that's one of the reasons I thought might be causing it. Okay well I'll consider doing less one page updates and actually publish episodes instead. Thank you so much.
