Worst fear, snakes or spiders?

After living in outback Australia, definitely snakes. If I saw one, it was far more likely to kill you than the average spider you'd come across. I even used to consider the huntsman spiders in my house as pets, because they were beneficial to have around.

Some people already said it all … CENTIPEDES.

Spiders? A-ok. Snakes? No worries. Scorpios? They've got their charm.

But centipedes with their 177 pairs of legs, not even 100 (100 would have been bearable), slowly undulating across your calf during a warm summer morning. Urgh. And the fact they made a horror movie called The Human Centipede, though there were only three humans which means only 12 legs, makes it all the worse.

That and silver fish. Now silver fish are not that scary, but they are everywhere and the sheer number of them that I must have eaten in my lifetime makes me wonder how I haven't died from sepsis by now.

It's ok I love beetles too, they have pretty colors and their round shape is cute ^^
But flies.... uuuugh. I know they are very useful to ecosystem but I just can't stand them XD

I have a greater fear for snakes than spiders, because I don't see snakes that much. I've only seen two snakes outside of a zoo. I see spiders every week, even black widow spiders. I've learned how to deal with spiders, but not snakes.

Snakes are cool. I always got my kicks holding pythons as a kid. Zero fear.

I've never been in a situation where I've been really scared of being bit by either a spider or snake. The venomous spiders where I come from aren't that dangerous if you're a full grown adult and I never seem to encounter dangerous snakes.

If there's any animal that I've developed a caution of, it's dogs, of all things. My job means that I have often have to walk through and dig in people's yards, and some people have very large, barky dogs. Most of the times they're harmless, but sometimes you come across a dog and you can tell it would bite you if it wasn't restrained in some way.

I love reptiles and have seen plenty of snakes backpacking (even held them). Spiders are fine. I literally got attached to one in my bathroom once. Its name was Finlay. But once a spider touches me it's game over.
I'd say scary people are the most frightening.

Absolutely spiders. I hate spiders. I can tentatively coexist with certain spiders but would always rather not have them in the room.

My 2 corn snakes, on the other hand, are my babies. I'm not scared of them at all and they poke their head out from time to time when I walk past to see what I'm doing

and I tend to like watching them web weave. It's a nice pass time tbh
