Seeing as storytelling isn't my talent, yeah, I would. Now if I had to compare my "passion" with money, then it would be a no, I'd rather be penniless and keeping the one thing I completely enjoy in life than be rich and have nothing... even if it's not something I'm good at.

I agree. Even in kindergarten, I was that kid who can draw. It's a part of me, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if that desire to create/draw (the talent) was gone.

and since you'd be able to re-learn... oh god, just imagining not being able to draw as well as before, looking at a 1st grader scribble on my piece of paper where a cool fightin' dude was supposed to be - depressing/frustrating shit.

If we're talking about just one talent (i.e., art), then yes because I could fall back on my other talents to fulfill my need for creation.

Investment wise. Get good, sell the skill, make 10 mil and repeat. Soon to be rich enough to start buying out other skills or one main skill you enjoy doing lolol. That's one way to look at it. But selling your "passion" at the cost of 10 mil. I'd be really lonely. I mean, there's other things I do enjoy doing but I'm not "passionate" about them. For example, I do enjoy competitive fighting games but not to the point that I'm passionate enough about it to want to be a professional player winning big tournaments. I feel for people or for me, we all have many things we enjoy but "passion" feels like something else.
