Writer looking for an artist for webcomic {unpaid}

Let’s make a webcomic!

Now, you’re probably staring really hard at the unpaid part of the title right now, and I totally get it. Being an artist takes time, energy, and is pretty much drains all your mental strength. So the idea of being unpaid is pretty shitty I have to agree, and if I had the money to spend I would totally pay! However, I’m a teenager and I don’t really have cash, especially not the digital kind, but if you don’t have the time not to be paid for something you’re putting work into, I totally understand!

So, now that I’ve gotten that little disclaimer out of the way I guess I’ll give you a little bit of my background. I’m female, I’m almost seventeen-years-old, and I’ve been writing as a hobby since I was twelve. The first time I started to write that just wasn’t out of necessity for school was when I joined a Warrior Cats Roleplaying forum. I roleplayed for a long time until I started writing short stories and concepts on my own. I’ve always read a shit ton of manga from a super young age and about two or three years ago I got into webcomics and really wanted to make one of my own.

While I can draw, I’m not exactly amazing at it, and my style never really conveys the sort of stories I want to go for. I guess now is the part where I tell you about the sort of story I want to go for. I have about ten webcomic ideas that could honestly work, but I have one in particular that I would really love to make. Most of my stories are dramas and deal with some pretty heavy stuff, but still have some really fun moments. While I like super dark stuff, in real life there will always be moments of sun that shine through the clouds. I don’t really want to reveal the entire story, because I don’t want to spoil anything on a forum!

I was thinking about putting an example of my writing here, but first I’d like to see if anyone is even interested, I’d much rather find out who might want to work with me and contact them and go on from there. So you can just say if you’re interested and maybe you could post a picture of your art. (Also I'll probably get an example since people seem to really want that, just let me dig one up!) What kind of style are you looking for? Any examples? How long is your story?

Even if you don't want to spoil anything, it would be better telling a short description about it like a prompt

I'm looking for a semi-realistic and or anime-ish style. The story length could honestly depend, there's a lot of parts I could cut out, but I honestly want to do something the artist would be comfortable with doing! As for a short description, it's a body swapping story (sort of) with a pretty dark twist. As for an example, I can dig one up!

Hmm not sure how people would react with body swapping, especially webtoon readers. There is a superhero webtoon on feature section, that starts with a guy turning into a woman due to a laser ray, but also switch back to male. And the readers were all biased telling some bad things about it

I see! Well it's a bit more complex than that, and honestly it isn't exactly two body swapping, but more like one! It's a bit difficult to explain but lets just say something causes the main character to enter enough persons body, and they're unable to return back due to certain circumstances. Also the other person is well, missing in action. It's a little dark.

If a webcomic doesn't work out I could always write it as a novel!
