Writer looking for an artist or artists (PAID)

I've been writing a story so far, it's a romance, slice of life story. I haven't finished writing it yet, but I think it's going to be a long term project. I'm looking for more than one artist since the job is probably big, I'm not sure. I also have another story in mind, but I'm not writing that one yet, but if anyone is interested in brainstorming with me on ideas, your welcome to help with that one, it's more of a family story. Both jobs I want to pay the artist, but that can be discussed to get a better understanding.

I have a few character designs I can show
Length of work: (I have 20 chapters so far and aim to keep writing soon)
Expected updates: at least once a week
Comic style: vertical and black and white (up for discussion)

Paid per page (around $20-$30)
Manga style preferred for a romance slice of life

The romance story is: a girl, who had a bad history with friendships and lost the want to trust in others, only caring about school along with her dream to be a writer. She soon meets a person who's writing talents interest her to at least try to speak to them for her own benefit, not wanting to get attached to them.

If this is a paid project, you should say so in title of the post, it'll definitely get more attention! Same with adding more details about it, the more the artist has to work with, the better your odds are of finding the right person for the job! Here's an example of a template someone was giving in a thread.

• Project: (soooo like is it a comic? or a book project? most of the time it would be a comic tho, considering it's the Tapastic forums)

• Length of work (60 page one shot? Or 60 chapter series?)

• Expected update days/frequency (once a week? Twice a week? Every day?)

• Comic style (black and white? Color? Vertical? Standard comic format?)

• Preferred method of contact (gmail, skype, etc etc.)

• Paid or non-paid? Collaboration? Partnership?

• General series idea (synopsis of comic idea, genre, general art style, etc.)

I've just updated the title to say that this project is paid, to get a bit more attention rolling in! Make sure you include a rough idea of your budget per page, or even a minimum and maximum bracket.

As mentioned above make sure you include how many pages you need, what you're looking for and upload frequency/deadlines to help people decide.

Can you explain the difference between a collaboration and a partnership please?

Even a rough idea helps - an estimation is fine.
If you don't know yet maybe that's something to roll around in your head until enough of the script is finished to closely guess. Many artists would like to know roughly how much work they'll be doing so they can be ready to plan for it.

Collaboration is 50/50 ownership and creative control over everything from the beginning.

A partnership is more like you're working out a deal, temporary or otherwise. These usually work under the idea that someone is offering a service.

Your case sounds more like a partnership (based on what I know)
