Hey there! I come to this forum today to discuss a matter that I have been trying to resolve for a while now. I have been writing and planning out a series for the past 4 years named The Champions Palace, and have made hundreds of characters, over 20 arcs, and much more so far. The story follows a 17 year old male named Theon, as he leaves his hometown into the outside world, meets new companions that will accompany him along the way (a "team" if you will), and his experiences to find his lost father who was supposedly killed 13 years ago. He encounters rough patches, and realizes how corrupted the world is in itself. He will do whatever it takes to find a "family" to call his own, and will rid of anyone that gets in his way. It is set in a world with 9 continents that I have made myself, with each continent and each country having a huge significance. An adventure series with a little bit of everything mixed in, if you will.
A piss poor explanation, I know, but it's hard to summarize everything. There are notebooks upon notebooks I have filled with ideas, development, and even some maps. The only problem is, I'm a terrible artist. I have an idea of what all of the characters would look like, but I can't draw to save my life ):
Anyways, I hope someone would be happy to collaborate with me, and to illustrate the series. It does not have to be full color (in fact, I would like to keep the aesthetic to black and white (it's easier for the artist. It wouldn't be possible without them!) No portfolio needed. I just wanna see your art style is all! So, if anyone is interested, I would love to hear your feedback and we can go from there. I hope to hear back soon!
