Hello, I was looking to possibly collaborate with a artist or multiple artists who might be interested in working on a few projects of mine (making manga). Many of what I've written would be one shots given the size of the pieces. This would range to about 50 panels per story (could change depending on artist recommendations when doing the project).
Although I am the author of these pieces, I am also more than willing to expand/work with suggestions given by the artist as long as it does not drastically change the overall story. In terms of artwork that I am looking for, I do want some quality but style is open if it fits a given piece. I also pioneered digital art, but I will consider traditional as well. Below are a few brief summaries of what could be worked on, however this doesn't show the other pieces I have in waiting (not mentioned). If you are not interested in the ones mentioned below die to not fitting to your style, etc. but are interested in maybe doing another piece or creating a whole new project in general, dm me and I could give details on other works or work with you.
Now, you may be asking what will I get from this? What will you do with this? What's the time schedule for said projects?. To answer those questions, I can not give any out of pocket monetary payment, so this will be entirely something you would want to do. Yes, I know this could limit who will take on these projects with me, but that is something I will have to work with as time goes on. However, these could be a nice addition to your portfolios or a side project during your spare time that will of course could be added to your completed works. To answer the question of what I will do with this. With the completed works, I will the to publish them through online outlets. Of course, as you the artist, would be allowed to post them along with sites that you personally use/post on; as long as all credit is given appropriately (basically that it was a collaboration/give credit where it's due). Lastly, with all this said, the time table would be about a month but will be flexible given that this is not only more of a request than a actual commission and the fact life happens. However, I ask that you would be committed to follow through with the project.
Lastly, you may ask, what if we work on this and want to try to get some monetary value from it? I would be more than willing to talk about this option with you if you so choose to mention it. If we do go through this option, the split of profit would be You: 70%, Me 30%. I do understand the value a artist beings to the table and I feel this would be fair in terms of this option/time investment.
Overall, not only am I looking for a artist that I can invest in, I am looking for you the artist to find a writer you can invest and trust in as well. Thank you for those who read this over, and hopefully I will hear from you soon.
