Hello,
Firstly, I want to apologize if I'm posting something wrong on this forum. Please let me know, and I'll make changes.
The genres I write mostly in are slow-burn romance and slice-of-life. I do like to challenge myself to write in other genres, like action, fantasy, supernatural, and the sorts. I love writing, so my chapters are usually about 8000 words (per chapter) and are over twenty chapters. Therefore, I'm looking for an artist who's willing to collaborate for a long while. I know that's very long, but I hope you'll see that I'm passionate about my writing.
Regarding payment, it'll be UNPAID until we can get enough support, whether it's on here or on Webtoons (or on another site, which I'll let you know more once we work together). If we do receive financial support, I was thinking you'd get 60%. That percentage is also changeable based on your art, if you don't mind. However, if luck's not on our side, and we don't receive any support, and you have drawn for my story from start to finish, I will pay you $200 US for your work. Payment will be via Paypal. To break it down, it's $0.50 per 'page" or "strip" (I'm not sure what the correct terminology is, sorry), meaning you'll be paid for having drawn 400 pages/strips regardless if that number is met, not met, or surpassed. For a "visual" formula, it's: $0.50 x 400 pages = $200. The 400 pages is used because I'm estimating that my story may have at most that many pages..
I truly am sorry that it's not enough, but it's really what I can afford at the moment.
As for the art style, I'd prefer more of a manga-style format with color--but I'm flexible with the style so long as the characters aren't manga-style characters, if that makes any sense. My works are for young adults, so I would love it if the art's more mature and realistic-looking, thus, I'd love it if the character didn't look too childish, such as having enormous eyes or fluffy, colorful hair.
As a writer, I post a chapter every other week, but if we were to collaborate and can keep up that schedule, that'd be great. If we can't, once a month is fine too. =)
If you are serious and would love to know more, please contact me.
Below are the two possible stories you can choose to draw for (all of which have been published on a different site and have been completed)
Mirai (genres/themes: fantasy, supernatural, action, slow-burn, demons/monsters)
Summary: In a time where demons and humans exist together, a girl and her friends have to work with the royal military known as The Demon Slayers. After interrupting one of the demon's plans, they realize the demons' target isn't the King but the one who'll cease all mankind. Through her adventure, she also wonders about her own identity. (23 chapters)
Yuna Inspired: Our Virtual Family (genres/themes: slice-of-life, slow-burn, parenthood, family)
Summary: I am currently writing the "alternate" version on here, but this is a finished story on my main site. It's about two friends becoming parents to a child left on their doorstep. As they become parents to the child, their friendship takes a 180-degree turn and make them become more than what they think they will always be. (42 chapters)
There's another story that's close to finishing (i'm currently re-editing it), and it hasn't been published yet. If neither of the two above sounds interesting, let me know, and I'll give you the third story's summary. The reason I'm not saying it on here is to keep it secretive from my readers on my other site. Please understand, and thank you.
I apologize for the lengthy post, but I hope it's detailed enough to let you know anything you want to know. Feel free to ask questions for anything I may have missed or to clarify anything I've written.
Thanks,
Mstyper
