Hello, I'm Noir!
I'm an aspiring writer currently in their junior year of college. I've had an idea for an action-school life shonen for awhile now and would love to see it come to life in a manga or webcomic format. Although the story is only in its beginning stages, I already have a basic outline/plan for future arcs. On that note, this would be a long running series and if profits were to be made off this project, it would be divided accordingly. So although this is a rather informal collaboration, I am willing to make it into a more formal agreement if need be.
To go into more detail about my story idea, it's similar to My Hero Academia with a delinquent twist. The main cast form of Disciplinary Committee in order to combat the rampant delinquency present in their school. Here's a short excerpt:
He pulled a metal container from behind the desk and began to read off names from his clipboard. One by one, each student went to the front and were given a metal bracelet from the container.
“Edan Griffin.” I rose to my feet as my name was called and made my way to Mr.Kodiak. He was far more intimidating up close, easily over 6 feet. He gave me a bracelet and for a second I hesitated to put it on. From my peripheral I could see the beast of a man scrutinizing my actions. I slid the bracelet over my wrist and at first it was a bit large, in danger of slipping off. Nethertheless, it quickly molded and shrunk to fit snugly around my wrist. A blue light glowed and beeped as it did so.
Immediately my body felt like it was missing something, but I didn’t ask questions as I silently went back to my seat. He called a few more names as he handed out more of the metal bracelets.
“Tobias Blair.” Immediately students started to mutter and whisper among themselves.
“Isn’t that the guy from Russet Middle School?”
“They let that psycho come back to school?”
“Damn and I thought I had a chance of ruling this class.”
“Quiet.” Mr. Kodiak said sternly.
Next to me, the blue haired boy hadn’t lifted his head yet. But he spoke, his words muffled, “Just call me Toby.”
He raised his head and begrudgingly stood from his desk. To think the boy I chose to sit next to was already infamous. I inwardly sighed at the revelation. Already I was making decisions that might make my life more difficult. After taking the bracelet, he plopped in his seat and groaned.
“Man, now I can’t go back to sleep.” He played with the metal bracelet and examined it curiously.
“Those bracelets are called limiters. They prevent you from using your abilities while you’re on campus. As long as you're on school grounds, they’ll be activated. From now on when you come to school, you’ll be immediately scanned to make sure you’re wearing them. Though considering what class this is, I’m sure most of you will attempt to skirt this rule. It won’t work."
Of course I would be open towards story suggestions and ideas from the artist as well ^-^! Scheduling isn't currently set in stone seeing as college life can be quite hectic, but I'm currently on break so I'm far more flexible for a few weeks. And I'm sure whoever (if anyone) decides to collaborate, we can come up with a solid schedule once we understand each other's work flow.
