I've actually got the same situation. I'm currently too young to be able to pay, but next year I'll legally be able to work and get my own credit card. I might and actually want to collaborate with another writer if it works, considering another set of hands and another mind is also useful. For me, I'm just looking for an artist that doesn't work on anatomically detailed drawings, considering it's a short project with the main genre being Horror (legit, it doesn't take much to scream as I'm an evolving artist myself lmao).
And really, I would be satisfied with chibi figures, those just make the "horror" just super cute in my opinion. I don't expect detailed shading and coloring or anything. I'm not looking for artists frantically, because I understand that some people want to be paid for their work too. So no rush for me, considering I still have a life ahead of me. It'd just be nice to make about $1000 every month considering I can't bend over for certain work forces (I have scoliosis). I don't need money that bad, so I'd let the artist have 60% of the pay, and I'd be happy with just 40%, or hell, 30%. Writing is mostly a hobby for me, I'd just like to see if I can get anything out of it.
I use Webtoon and Wattpad as my reading apps as well as Reedsy and Google docs for writing.
If you're interested in writing with me or drawing, don't hesitate to contact my email either, I'll welcome you with open arms as a friend and co-worker: cantdecidelife@gmail.com
