Writer looking for Artist- Post-apocalyptic One Shot (UNPAID)

Hello everyone!

I’m interested in making a one-shot, set in a post-apocalyptic world far in the future. The overall tone of the story is definitely dark, but not pointlessly edgy. It will be SWF, but there’ll be some blood and violence in it. The story is more or less about a young boy who gains immense powers, and becomes a weapon of war.

I’m looking for a fairly manga-esque style, although I’m fairly flexible on the exact style. It’ll be in black-and-white, with maybe a small amount of color for a character’s eyes.

The story is a one-shot, and shouldn’t take up too much time- I’m thinking it may range from 20-30 pages, although that may vary.

Me and my friend are interested in collaborating with a one shot comic. Unpaid or not. He will be the background/lineart artist and I'll be the character artist/colorist. We do not have experience in creating a comic but we are confident with our abilities and we would love the experience to learn and create something new.
