Hello! Yeah I was mostly trying to find someone to bounce ideas off of and whose got some experience drawing in a typical anime style. Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of the way Harems are handled in other comics either but I wanted to try and create something a little more realistic. The whole point in the MC being a Lion kin is because of the natural harem that forms in lion prides. Here's what I've been working on so far. Keep in mind its in a pretty early stage of world creation. I also have some other parts that are in my head like the magic system for both the world and for the MC.
THE NO MANE PRINCE
Race, Leotis-
Nomadic,Live on the Giant plains of the Eastern Continent very rare for men to be born, social hierarchy is pretty flat, Women mostly lead however men are given some reverence due to their rarity and their prowess when defending their tribe. (special buffing power when defending their harem specifically. This is aside from the Lion Queen Who is a Leoric King but a female) very strong as people, Men are born at a rate below 10% and as such Harems are pretty common for men however women choose their own futures due to their high percentage of the population and own combat prowess. This is because it is known that the more members of a harem a man of this race has the more power he has in combat. Usually it starts at around a 15% increase in combat ability however it starts to decrease the more people are added. Special cases have been known to have been born (however very rarely) called Leoric Kings. Lion kings are known to have a higher capacity for harem members Usually so much so that they are unable to fill their harem to the point of their combat abilities decreasing. They also have a varying degree of combat ability gain. The Mc is one of these kings however he also has a slight variation where the more members from different races he has the higher the overall increase in combat ability he gains while defending them. This is unknown to him until he is with someone who he falls in love with and the feelings are reciprocated. The fact he is a Leoric King is then signified differently for different kings however by two Red dyed tips of his ears.
World- A world where magic, swords, and different bestial races run rampant, The main geography of this planet is 70% unknown and 90% unknown to the MC at the time. Two main continents connected by a small cluster of islands to the north that pour south into the ocean are common knowledge however their overall size and shape is unknown
Mc’s father- Is known as the No Mane King. While normally Lion men are more lion like in appearances Mcs father Has a human mother. Due to this he retains the face of a man with cat ears and has less of a gain in defensive power. While this has stopped his growth potential his harem ( he also has a lower capacity for harem members before not gaining much combat abilities) His foriegn looks make him popular with some of the Lionesses. He also has an abnormality that makes his harem members more powerful than him making him somewhat of a laughing stalk to the other tribes kings. Even though he has had a somewhat difficult life compared to other lion kings he still retains an inherent nonchalant attitude and is really carefree. He has a lot of care for his family and his children but has little to no Pride when it comes to intertribal politics which leads his son(MC) to have conflict when his father is scorned by other tribe’s kings In the local festivals.
Mc- Born from a lioness and No Mane King, His appearance is that of humans until he has his Pride day celebration where he gains lion ears and a tail. He has very slender attributes other than that and grey slightly blond hair. The first major conflict comes as the No Mane king gets into a fight with one of the larger more tyrannical Kings due to him making fun of him and MC getting upset that his father isn't fighting back. This leads him to almost hitting MC but the MC’s father then intervenes and the Lion Queen, shames him in front of all the other Tribes Kings. This causes him to retaliate later arriving at the Home of the MC and threatening to kill everyone if Mc’s Father doesn't hand over his women and children to be killed. The Mc’s father then sends the children away into a secret cliff path that the mc ends up falling off after saving one of his smaller sisters who was about to fall off. While he's in the air lightning strikes him and he ends up landing in the water where he hits his head and falls unconscious. - Enter Signal- Signal wakes up in Mc’s body having just been Isikaid into the Mc’s world he wakes up surrounded by a small pack of carnivorous raptor like animals. Signal- A super introverted man who lived in an earthlike world previously. His original body was very scrawny and he was not outgoing at all. He was just turning 21 when he was hit by a bus and found himself trapped in Mc’s body running for his life. He at first is super excited by his new found body and then realizes how terrifying being in a new world is and how incapable he is. He narrowly manages to escape and ends up falling asleep in a small indentation in a cliffside where he collapses from exhaustion. While sleeping he dreams of talking to the original owner of the body. They notice how similar their astral appearance is in both energy and form and the MC wakes back up and starts to
