Agreed. I read a lot of comics that I think deserve far more attention than they get. Despite being INCREDIBLE artists, they don't get the attention they deserve. Unfortunately, it's often due to things that an experienced/educated (I qualify this because not all self-proclaimed writers are the same.) writer could help with.

For writing and books, I have discovered book quotes and pictures of the actual paperback go a long way. Even on Social Media, they tend to slow viewers down and create amazing clickbait at times.

For example I just hopped into Canva app and made a few more for the weeks to come:

I try to mix it up when I can. So for instances, in that same stack I have one like this... It's interesting to see which ones really do catch on and it never seems to be the one I thought it would be LOL

Getting positive reviews and having active fans quickly boost the attractiveness of any work. And if a writer gets those than he/she is probably doing a good job.

I beg to differ. Comics do indeed need good writing. Plot, for example. Character development. All the requirements for storytelling are in the writers' wheelhouse, not necessarily the artist's. And as proven at many a comic convention, the artists who are also good storytellers or writers who can also draw are outnumbered by people just there to sell prints.

There's not really an easy way for writers, especially when tapas is comics first, webnovels second.

The best way would probably be to have your writing in a comic page, or have someone illustrate your writing with a picture. Beyond that, you have text...and text will never catch attention like pictures. That's just the way of things.

People showcase their writing by making aesthetic moodboard using the excerpt of their novels/quotes/poetry. I see this kind of practice often among Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook people.

For a story form like novel, I think it is also good for you to advertise the characters along with the story. Make people drawn to your characters, then they will be interested in what the characters are doing and what story they are in.

This is easier be done if you can draw and/or visualize the characters. Some people (like me) draw their own characters, others rely on requesting or commissioning artists, the others use celebrity/model face-claims, and there are people who use many free avatar makers available to visualize their characters. Then, you can introduce them by adding a short bio, facts, and make your audience can interact with them.
